John 21:15-17 - Jesus tells Peter to feed and tend His flock!
1 Peter 5:1-2 - Peter tells his fellow presbyters also to tend God's flock!
Ephesians 2:19-20 - The Church is built upon the foundation of the Apostles and
prophets .
Heb 5:1-4 - Every high priest is taken from among men and made their
representative before God...No one takes this honor upon himself but only when
called by God, just as Aaron was.
Exo 28:1 - Aaron was called to the Priesthood by God through his brother, Moses,
a human man and shepherd of Gods people!
Ephesians 4:11 - That some should be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and
teachers
Acts 1:23-26 - Matthias is chosen to replace Judas (Succession after one's Death)
Acts 9:26-30 - Paul is approved by the Apostles
Acts 14:14 - Paul and Barnabas are also called apostles
Titus 1:5 - Titus performs the duties of an apostle
1 Timothy 3:1-7 - Qualifications for bishops (successors to the apostles)
1 Timothy 4:14 - The office of bishop was conferred upon Timothy by the laying
on of hands.
2 Peter 1:15 - Peter will ensure that teachings are passed on after his death!

Protestants give little thought of their "Young Christian Roots."
Jesus established just "One" church and Commissioned men to feed and tend His Flock until His return!
Feeding and tending implies that we, the flock, are to be "fed" and "tended" by those appointed, commissioned
and given the authority to feed and tend! Only the Catholic Church can trace her "Roots" back through
documented history to the one and only First Century Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ!
