MAN'S ETERNAL PURPOSE  (1)
Man is the only creature on Earth that is able to
contemplate his actions before hand, then choose
and consider the consequences of his actions and
choices.
This simple truth raises the question of
accountability.  To whom are we accountable?
Ourselves?  Our consciences?  Our decendants?
Our fellow man?  In a civilized society, we must
be accountable to all of these, but ultimately, we
are especially accountable to the one who is
responsible for our existance.  The one who
created all that exists.  The first cause who has no
cause, God!
Why are we especially accountable to God?
Before we can answer this question, we must first
ask that famous question, "Why did God create
us?"   The definitive answer has to be that God
has a purpose for us.  To believe otherwise is to
accuse God of creating us and all things in vain.
So then, what is God's purpose for creating us?
To be born, to live, to suffer, to die and cease to
exist?  God would not be so foolish or wasteful in
creating man and the universe for us to have no
purpose beyond the grave!  If he were, he would
be NO God!  He could not have infinite wisdom to
create for no good reason or purpose!  Human
reason tells us that God could not, and would not
be so foolish.  Reason reveals that our creator has
to have a purpose for us.  So, just what is God's
purpose for us?  Perhaps we can answer this by
asking why a husband and wife want to have
children.  What is the purpose of our children?
Isn't it an expression of "Love"?   Are they not
the object of our love?  As rational beings created
in God's image, we have the capacity to love; to
freely give love  and receive love.  How are we to
give this love to our children if they do not exist?
How are we to receive their love if they do not
exist?  So it is with God, an expression of love!
Our Divine Eternal Purpose for existing is to be
the Object of God's Divine Eternal Love and to
freely love God with our whole being!  We
co-create with God when we conceive children.
We create the mortal body, God creates the
immortal soul with the intention of both being
glorified in the end and living forever with God
and our eternal siblings in paradise.
To be created by Him means that we are his
children.  What power, abilities, riches, graces
and glory would God give to his children?   Isn't it
true that we want to give ALL good things to
OUR children?  Is it not true that we want to give
our children everything good we have, within our
abilities?  Isn't it true that we want our children
to be happy?  So it is with God!  We are His
children.  How much more can God give to His
children than we can give to ours?  Yet we are
here. God's not done with us yet!  We do not have
our inheritence!  This is due to the fall of our first
parents on Earth, Adam and Eve, resulting in our
fallen human nature and our lost inheritence!
When our first parents lost their eternal treasures
and glory, there was nothing for their children to
inherit!

Adam & Eve
1 Corinthians
Chapter 15
42
So also is the
resurrection of the
dead. It is sown
corruptible; it is
raised
incorruptible.
43
It is sown
dishonorable; it is
raised glorious. It
is sown weak; it is
raised powerful.
44
It is sown a
natural body; it is
raised a spiritual
body. If there is a
natural body,
there is also a
spiritual one.
45
So, too, it is
written, "The first
man, Adam,
became a living
being," the last
Adam a life-giving
spirit.
46
But the spiritual
was not first;
rather the natural
and then the
spiritual.
47
The first man was
from the earth,
earthly; the
second man, from
heaven.
48
As was the
earthly one, so
also are the
earthly, and as is
the heavenly one,
so also are the
heavenly.
49
Just as we have
borne the image
of the earthly one,
we shall also bear
the image  of the
heavenly one.
