Explained so a child can understand

As a Catholic, I only recently became aware of the Church's position on
Predestination, a highly complex issue with a long history of study,
heresies, conflicting views, Councils and debate.  I began to study, read
and pray so that I was sure that I understood the final bottom line of the
Church.  As I read each explanation, I found myself mentally yelling at
the text, "
Explain this to me like I'm five!"  After talking to others and
praying some more, I thought that what was missing from all those lines
of theological text was a Model of the whole thing!  God’s Divine
Plan for man!   Furthermore, I was committed to write this Model if one
did not yet exist!  So here it is, God willing!

Divine Family
God is our Father (Provides all things for His family)
The Church is our Mother (Nurtures, feeds and instructs Her Children)
                                Heaven is our Home
Our Joy is our Parents Desire

MAN IN TIME ON EARTH
GOD IS NOT GOVERNED BY SPACE OR TIME AND SEES PAST,
PRESENT, FUTURE & ETERNITY ALL AT ONCE!
God does not predestine our choices, our thoughts or our deeds, but
because He is omniscient, (knows all), He knows how we will choose.
He knows what we will do.  He knows what we will refuse to do.  He
knows how we will respond to His Graces.  Based on what God knows,
we can say with confidence that He predestines souls, according to
foreseen and foreknown merits, to Heaven, never to be separated from
Him again.  Presently we do not enjoy this state of eternal bliss and
based on our free choices, totally free of coercion,  if we reject God's
Graces, we are not elected and therefore,
WE choose to remain
eternally separtated from God, from heaven and eternal bliss.  This is
not God's doing, but ours!  This is eternal hell that we choose!  God
does not predestine souls to hell, WE do this to ourselves!  God only
predestines souls TO HEAVEN!
