COURT KICKS GOD AND PLEDGE TO THE CURB
IN SACRAMENTO CALIFORNIA!
A VICTORY FOR ATHEISTS!
It is now illegal to say the Pledge of Allegiance in three school
districts in Sacramento California. Some 40 years ago,
Comedian, Red Skelton paid a beautiful tribute to the Pledge of
Allegiance and concluded by asking, "Wouldn't it be a shame if
some time in the future, it became illegal to recite the Pledge of
Allegiance because of the one word (God) included?
How many other words will become illegal to say in public?
Here is a list of just a few that have Religious meaning and
overtone:
1. Corpus Christi (Texas): Corpus Christi literally means the
Body of Christ!
2. Sacramento (California): Means Sacrament, a visible sign of
an invisible Grace granted by God!
3. San Francisco: Saint Francis, a Canonized Catholic Saint!
4. Los Angeles: City of Angels!
5. San Diego: a Canonized Catholic Saint!
6. St. Louis: a Canonized Catholic Saint!
7. Maryland, (an entire State): Literally means "Land of
Mary" Mother of Jesus!
8. In God We Trust: On all U.S. Currency!
9. Prayer before Congressional sessions!
10. The song, God Bless America!
There are many other U.S. Cities named after Christian Saints
and many other references to God and Christianity in our
Country! Will we have to ban all the Geography and History
books and other text books in our public schools and libraries?
What about the promotion of Atheism? Don't I have a right not
to have Atheism promoted and shoved down my throat? My
children's and grandchildren's throats? My personal belief is
that if we continue to allow the promotion of a Godless Society,
we will become an immoral, decadent and Evil Society! Absent
of all Human Rights! Another China! Another USSR!
Completely Communist / Socialist! Someone once said, "All it
takes for Evil to prevail, is for good men to do nothing!" So I"m
asking all good men and women to come to the aid of their
country and contact your representatives and let them know that
we are One Nation Under God, and let's send this message to
these misguided judges and the small number of Atheists too!
The Atheists may want to consider moving to China of some
other Godless Nation, but should leave our God, our Country
and our Pledge of Allegiance alone!
