Matthew 18:17 - If someone refuses to listen to the Church cast him out !
Mat 18:17 Comparative Bibles
(ASV) And if he refuse to hear them, tell it unto the church: and if he refuse
to hear the church also, let him be unto thee as the Gentile and the publican.
(DRB Catholic) And if he will not hear them: tell the church. And if he will
not hear the church, let him be to thee as the heathen and publican.
(NAB Catholic) If he refuses to listen to them, tell the church. If he refuses to
listen even to the church, then treat him as you would a Gentile or a tax
collector. ...(Notice the use of the word,"even" in this verse, as if the author
would be astounded that a man would not listen even to the Church!)
